# Anomaly Detection

This is a step in data analysis where AI is used to identify patterns that do not conform to expected behavior. Anomalous patterns can signify critical incidents, such as fraud, network intrusions, or system failures. AI models for anomaly detection generally require processing vast datasets to learn what constitutes "normal" behavior before they can identify deviations.
